Global Rights for Women, an international nonprofit based in Minneapolis, Minnesota that works to eliminate violence against women and girls in the U.S. and around the world. Since 2014, Global Rights for Women has worked alongside the United Nations and at the invitation of grassroots organizations in over 30 countries to improve laws and policies that promote women and girl’s human right to safety, justice, and equality. 

All proceeds from this fundraising event will support their work to address systemic changes necessary to better support and create a safer world for victims of gender-based violence around the world. 

Muna Abdulahi will be a featured poet at the event.
